Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The project types that are to be managed are the production of special purpose automated equipment/machines.

  • Manage projects from initial concept, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly, wiring, programming, testing, through to installing at the customer site.

  • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements throughout a project.

  • Generate and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project.

  • Update Customers and internal management on project progress.

  • Manage a team of Mechanical Design Engineers to design automated equipment.

  • Work closely and communicate with different departments to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Ability to work closely and communicate with project team.

  • Ensure machines meet CE marking standards.

  • Ensure documentation standards for equipment meet requirements.

 

REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in project management.
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering/Project Management.
  • Excellent computer skills and competent using MS office (MS Project in particular).
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, while ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on schedule and within budget.
  • Ability to work as part of a flexible, dynamic team, while taking responsibility for individual tasks.
  • Fluent in English, with good level of reading and writing skills.
  • Understanding of GAMP 5 documentation standards is beneficial.
  • Experience in SolidWorks is beneficial.

Fabrication Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing bespoke automation equipment for use within medical device/Pharmaceutical sector with an emphases on fabrication
  • Design complex fabricated elements of machines (frames, sheet metal parts etc.)
  • Working with our design team to bring innovative concepts to life through CAD modelling, prototyping and detailed specification for manufacture
  • Use Soildworks to develop complex multi-part CAD assemblies and output detailed specification drawings for our in-house tooling department
  • Accompanying the senior team with client presentations, project reviews and helping to maintain our high standard of customer service
  • Ensure machines are built to relevant CE marking standards
  • Manage, plan and execute projects on schedule and within budget

 

REQUIREMENTS


  • The person should be a qualified Fitter/fabricator with Stainless steel experience preferable
  • Good knowledge of fabrication specifications/requirements for the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Have considerable technical knowledge of Fabrication techniques and other disciplines (essential)
  • Experience in fabrication, sheet metal and design would be beneficial.
  • Experience of Solidworks is beneficial
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule

Mechanical Design Engineer

Electrical Technician

  • Build electrical panels and wire components for automated machinery projects.
  • General electrical work.
  • Machine fault-finding and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work closely and communicate with project team.
  • Ensure the relevant wiring standards are being adhered to.

 

REQUIREMENTS


  • Relevant qualification in area of electrical, electronics or related field.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams/schematics.
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Experience of using EPlan or solidworks electrical is beneficial.

Assembly Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Machine building and mechanical assembly
  • Interpreting technical assembly drawings and equipment manuals
  • Dismantling, repair/rework and fitting of new parts when performing maintenance
  • Installation of production equipment
  • Condition monitoring using modern maintenance techniques
  • Report writing of completed repairs
  • Commissioning machines/equipment on our customers site from time to time (Ireland and abroad)

 

REQUIREMENTS


  • Comfortable to work individually or as part of a team
  • Great communication skills: Working closely with the assembly supervisor and the project team
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge and skills in assembly and repairs of mechanical systems such as bearings, gears, belts & pulleys etc.
  • Experience in pneumatics would be an advantage
  • To be fully competent with a variety workshop machines such as lathes, manual milling machine, surface grinders, etc. 
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • A passion/strong interest in engineering is essential

Apprentice Toolmaker

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Machine high quality precision tooling parts according to engineering drawings provided

  • Ensuring all specifications/tolerances are met on all tooling parts manufactured

  • Continuously improving efficiency when manufacturing parts (i.e. can this part be manufactured more efficiently)

  • Design and manufacture production aids & fixturing to aid in tooling part manufacturing

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the toolroom equipment

  • Maintain toolroom cleanliness and housekeeping and ensure that others do also

  • Take on other duties which the Company may assign you from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS


  • Comfortable to work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt in a challenging, fast paced environment
  • Good team player who works well with colleagues or independently
